More Great News in Global Warming

Even the United Nations is now backing off the Global Warming is destroying the earth claims of the Environmental Wackos.

Mankind has had less effect on global warming than previously supposed, a United Nations report on climate change will claim next year.
The UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says there can be little doubt that humans are responsible for warming the planet, but the organisation has reduced its overall estimate of this effect by 25 per cent.

Of course, they can't just report the news, and allow people to draw their own conclusions. They have to point out that while this helps prove the Global Warming skeptics, like me, that isn't the intent.

Climate change sceptics are expected to seize on the revised figures as evidence that action to combat global warming is less urgent.
Scientists insist that the lower estimates for sea levels and the human impact on global warming are simply a refinement due to better data on how climate works rather than a reduction in the risk posed by global warming.

In addition to my previously posted cure to global warming, we do have another possible cure for Global Warming out of another left wing gathering. It seems that even a small scale nuclear war would have "catastrophic" effects on the environment including reduced Ozone production.

The lingering effects could re-shape the environment in ways never conceived. In terms of climate, a nuclear blast could plunge temperatures across large swaths of the globe. "It would be the largest climate change in recorded human history," Alan Robock, associate director of the Center for Environmental Prediction at Rutgers' Cook College and another member of the research team.

Plunging Temperatures, well that would stop or at least delay the Global Warming wouldn't it?

The assembled nutty professors...... generated a series of computer simulations of potential climate anomalies caused by a small-scale nuclear war.
"We looked at a scenario of a regional nuclear conflict say between India and Pakistan where each of them used 50 weapons on cities in the other country that would generate a lot of smoke," Robock told LiveScience.
They discovered the smoke emissions would plunge temperatures by about 2 degrees Fahrenheit (1.25 degrees Celsius) over large areas of North America and Eurasia—areas far removed from the countries involved in the conflict.

So a Nuclear War involving roughly 100 warheads would do more cooling than the Kyoto Treaty's .04 degrees C reduction and unlike Kyoto, it would be immediate? Perhaps we have another good reason to reconsider Nuclear War. I mean, let's consider for a moment, if we dropped the Bomb on Iran, not only would we rid the world of a Terrorist Supporting state, but we would also reduce Global Warming for up to ten years.

It would also be much cheaper to drop a few old Nukes on Iran, than it would to implement Kyoto. The Nukes have already been paid for, while Kyoto would cost us hundreds of millions of dollars for much less result.

Arctic Global Warming demonstration ends badly.

Another foolish believer in the Global Warming psudo-science has been rescued from the Arctic. Apparently, he hadn't gotten the word that despite the hysteria of the Extremist Global Warming alarmists, the Arctic is still freaking cold.

This by the way makes four years in a row that Extremists have been rescued from the North Pole.

So the Global Warming extremist now has Frostbite. Perhaps he hadn't heard that the ice sheet has been growing, and in fact is now equally large as it was when we first started to track it. Or perhaps on his Global Warming Mailing list, the dolt hadn't heard that temperatures were actually dropping on both the Arctic and Antarctic. The whole record cold winters the world has been enduring hasn't yet managed to convince the global warming extremists that the hype hasn't delivered yet.

I hope you didn't have any plans for those fingers friend, because you lost them with your stunt. Perhaps we can send more Global Warming Extremists next year, so we can all sit back and shake our heads at the future Darwin Award Winners.

Perhaps our intrepid Global Warming Activist will next demonstrate rising sea levels by cementing his feet to the bottom of the ocean.

Why the world is doomed Part Three

Politically driven Science. No matter where you look in history, you can find politically, or superstision driven science. From tribes throwing virgins into Volcanos to prevent their eruption to slaughtering cats to get rid of the evil spirits that were causing the plague. It isn't just ancient history either. A hundred years ago, the theory of Eugenics was widely accepted by scientists in most every nation. Today, this theory is more or less discredited, but like all scientific theories, it isn't far from a comeback.

Today one of the politically driven science examples is Environmentalism. It really began with Silent Spring and the banning of DDT. That the science behind Silent Spring was questionable, and the impact is obvious with nearly a million deaths from Malaria every year. But the "science" of Environmentalism was off and running, and effecting our lives via the Political implications.

Global Cooling became Global Warming which in turn became Global Climate Change. The problem with this science is that the reality, the facts, never meet the projections. When there is a news story that says the facts are NOT meeting the estimates, it is very difficult to find. Yet even when more data keeps coming in saying that Global Warming is NOT happening at anything near the projections, the press continues to harp the Global Warming IS happening meme. A month after that report came out the Press, even on Fox News was talking about how bad Hurricane Irene was and why it proved Global Warming was happening.

Global Warming believers have taken the science, and turned it into a Religion. Religions promise a better future, often while you are dead, for behaving a certain way. For Global Warming, that promise is "sustainability". This is where we are in balance with the earth and do not take from it more than we absolutely must.

The problem is that the believers legislate fixes to the environment. If you challenge the fixes, instead of heretic, you are called a Denier. Ethanol. That is the process of turning food into a less efficient less powerful gasoline substitute. No politician with dreams of national office can oppose Ethanol. The first primary is held in Iowa, and no one who has opposed Ethanol need apply, they won't win. If you have a history of voting against Ethanol, don't bother showing up. When you lose the first one, you are behind the curve, and an underdog. Your chances are very slim that you will be able to pull a win out of the primaries. All because of Ethanol and the junk science that says it works fine as a way to extend gasoline. We dare not challenge it, because we will pay in the primary.

The political left creates lists of those who deny that Global Warming is happening, and campaign to get those people fired from their jobs for the crime of being a heretic. We shall not discuss the data, we shall not discuss the facts. We shall punish those who deny the rightness of the science. We shall punish those who question the wisdom of the science.

If the actual results don't match the promised doom and gloom, don't worry it will come, just a little later than we estimated, and it will be way worse than we promised before.

Mankind likes to think they have all the answers. In reality, we barely understand the question. But that's not about to stop Politically driven science. Think about it. Oat Bran was good for your heart, and then a few years later another study said it didn't do squat. Wine good for you, bad for you, good for you. Every other year, it's good for you. In between, bad again. I've lost track of all the scientific theories that have been promoted, and then discredited quietly.

Politically driven science will be the death of many more over the next generations. I only hope the future is wiser than the present, or the past. Because right now, I'd say we were doomed.

Government Hypocracy on Global Warming

There are a few state Governments who are blaming the EPA for not regulating Carbon Dioxide emissions, that gas that is expelled when you breath, and it's effect on the notional Global Warming event. This blame is about to be decided by the Supreme Court. This is a lawsuit that precedes the famous California Suit against the Automakers. It also flies in the face of the recently announced discovery of a solution for Global Warming.

In short, WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Supreme Court hears arguments this week in a case that could determine whether the Bush administration must change course in how it deals with the threat of global warming.
A dozen states as well as environmental groups and large cities are trying to convince the court that the Environmental Protection Agency must regulate, as a matter of public health, the amount of carbon dioxide

You see, this is the Liberal tendency, if they don't get their way in legislature, in other words, Congress won't pass the laws they want, the Liberals run to the Courts and demand an order from the Court that things go their way.

Fine, I will help you Liberals out. First, each of you must stop flying all over the world to discuss Global Warming. Second, you State Governments who are suing claiming that automobiles are causing Global Warming, the plaintiffs for the case are California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington. They were joined by cities such as Baltimore, New York and the District of Columbia; the Pacific island of America Samoa; the Sierra Club; the Union of Concerned Scientists; Greenpeace; and Friends of the Earth.

You all stop driving cars, or taking airplanes. I want you all to lead the way by walking or using Public Transportation. I don't want to see your hypocritical selves getting out of the usual Crown Victoria with it's V-8 engine while demanding that I and the rest of the citizenry drive a geo-metro. You don't do that though do you? No, you all are Gulfstream Environmentalists who dash about in chartered jets, private planes, and large limos while the rest of the citizenry are blamed for Global Warming.

Here is another idea, stop screaming that we need to do something about alternative energy, when the biggest and loudest voices are the ones blocking alternative energy plans which would jeopardize the Kennedy family's favorite yachting area.

A Boston contractor has submitted plans to construct a $750 million offshore complex of 90 to 120 wind turbine towers near Naushon Island and the towns of Dartmouth and Fairhaven to supply electricity to about 240,000 homes.
While the Cape Wind project Kennedy opposed would have been "in view of some of the wealthiest communities in Massachusetts’ Cape Cod,” the new proposal is for a "project in view of more working-class areas,” according to CNN and Reuters.

Yes, it's fine for the "little people" to make sacrifices right Liberals? Just so long as YOU don't have to stop enjoying the good life as a reward for your progressive thought.

Global Warming, a Consensus Opinion

With McCarthyite demands, the left insists that there is more than enough evidence, and we need to act now. If you question the "evidence" then you are denounced soundly of being a tool of the corporations, or a paid spokesman, or worse.

The argument is that there is a Consensus of Opinion in favor of Global Warming Theory. I am in love with History, and understand that consensus of opinion existed many times in history. One of the obvious ones I mentioned before is Eugenics. All of my previous posts on Global Warming are here.

The BBC is putting a show on which questions the Global Warming science. Good I declare, because no idea should be so sacrosanct that it can't be discussed. That is what the left decries and claims is McCarthyism, while demanding the same strict interpretations of Global Warming. Hypocrisy is a major mark of the modern Leftist in case you hadn't noticed.

Other times in history where Consensus of Opinion was accepted and in fact demanded to be accepted by all were none to great looking back at history. We have the Inquisition, where not only was the consensus of opinion accepted, people were punished and tortured to insure they accepted it. We have other examples, the Consensus of Opinion in 1490 was that the earth was flat. The Consensus of Opinion in 1900 was that heavier than air flight was impossible. The Consensus of Opinion in 1940 was that man could not survive travel beyond the speed of sound barrier. If History hasn't shown you this lesson, then allow me to make it plain. A Consensus of Opinion is nothing more than everyone being convinced that they are right, even if they are wrong.

We all know the examples, 1500 years ago, everyone knew that the earth was the center of the Universe. The leading thinkers all believed it, and people were required to believe this. Now, we have better science, yet we continue to assume we know it all. Modern medicine didn't exist until the 1880's when medicine discovered Bacteria. Wow, knowledge we all take for granted, we assume was always known, painfully obvious, yet we are learning NEW things all the time. Things we learn today may prove a well known thing wrong tomorrow.

The obvious point to that is that we don't know what we will learn tomorrow. We don't know as much as we think we do. Like teenagers, we assume we have all the knowledge we need, and defiantly tell the world that we know enough thanks, and they can butt out. The difference is that Teenagers are supposed to have this abundance of confidence, to which they have no real grounds nor right, yet they are supposed to mature, and learn of the true complexities of life, from personal experience. We were all teenagers, and all erroneously believed we were the first to discover so much about life. Yet, as the years, and life experiences pass by, we learn that there is a lot more we don't understand.

Winston Churchill is purported to have said that if you aren't a liberal at 20, you have no heart, if you aren't a Conservative at 30, you have no brain. Do you understand what Mr. Churchill was saying? At 20, you are supposed to be passionate, supposed to believe all the ills of the world can be easily solved, easily fixed. All the problems are so obviously simple, that you don't understand why the elders haven't done it. Perhaps they are too stupid, too ignorant, or just too lazy to fix these problems. People are homeless, build shelters, open them, provide food for them. Yet, the homeless don't go to the shelters, unless it is especially cold. They don't show up for the food regularly. The Homeless don't behave as you think they will. We have poor people, it's obvious isn't it? We need to give them programs that will make it possible for them to have the necessities. Food, shelter, medical, and all the other things. Yet, despite having those programs, there are still poor, many who don't participate in the programs. Also, the programs don't address the core problem. The Why that lurks behind the what you see as wrong. Our elders tried to tell us about educating the poor and downtrodden, and leaving the choices to them. Yet, we teenagers ignored the elders, and demanded action. Later, when we are older, the cycle continues, and we realize our elders were right when they said "if you give a man a fish, you have fed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you have fed him for a lifetime."

We turn to the next generation, the next teenagers, and tell them this wisdom that we now understand is true, and we are treated the same way we treated our elders, and the cycle continues.

Global Warming may be true, I doubt it, yet because there is a consensus of opinion doesn't make it science. It makes it a belief. Science is something we can prove. Quantum theory is proven daily, by bar code scanners, by computers, in our daily lives. It is the science that we use to make machines work. Yet, we assign this same level of proven science to Global Warming, because some people THINK it is true. That doesn't make it science, science is something you can prove is true. The earth was round, and Christopher Columbus didn't fall off the edge in 1492 as many said he would. He didn't find India as he expected, but he did find out the earth was a sphere. He proved that the earth was round to the world. Until he did demonstrate the truth, we should not blame people for believing what they all thought was true.

However we should learn that because we believe something may be true, doesn't make it fact. Global Warming, caused by man, is not factual, factual means it's proven true. We haven't yet gotten to that point. We aren't even to the point of setting up the vessels to sail to the edge of the world to explore, much less ready to describe what we found there.

Global Warming is not destroying the earth

Friends, can we be honest for once here? Man's effect on climate is frankly, minimal, and how do we know this? Because until 1970, we were cooling, and we were putting out tons of pollutants at the time.

Also, historically all the great environmentalists claims and crusades have caused more harm than they supposedly fixed. The banning of DDT for example has led to 2 million deaths a year from Malaria. The dangers of DDT were not only overstated, but frankly, created out of thin air. Environmentalists still demand that no DDT be used, happily ignoring the dangers to the people who are denied this beneficial chemical that nearly ended typhus, and reduces Malaria deaths.

We can also look to the last Court Ordered, and Scientifically questionable issue of the last age and see remarkable similarities. Eugenics won court approval, was widely quoted as good science, considered brilliant when shaping public policy, and was wrong. It counted among it's supporters many nations that now are shilling for Global Warming "Science". Hitler was a firm believer in the Eugenics movement. Now we know that it's all a bunch of pseudo scientific hype. Those who stated that fact when Eugenics was sweeping the globe were shouted down as liars, much as Global Warming skeptics are today.

As an aside, I offer this site, which is trying to find a viable way to destroy the earth, and finds all the proposed means laughable. Suffice to say that destroying the earth is much harder than you might think, you are going to have to do a bit more than drive your car to contribute to it. A few billion square yards of mirrors positioned in space might do it, but short of that.

Let's look at the claims for a moment, of sites like this one. Among other doomsday claims.

Deaths from global warming will double in just 25 years -- to 300,000 people a year.

Gee, as pointed out in my last article, there are roughly 1 million abortions a year in this nation. There are 45 million per year in the world. A rather large difference, which Liberals are want to even discuss.

Global Warming isn't science, science looks at situations to learn, not to justify more funding and massive social change. That is what the Global Warming folks want, massive social change, for everyone but THEM.

Demand Action to stop Global Warming

I Max Conservative, am joining forces with Democracy for America, the far left wing advocacy group, and Moveon.org another far left wing group, to demand action on Global Warming.

Together, we can force those Politicians to take action on the Sun, which is putting out more radiation, and negotiate with this stellar body to reduce it's output. Only together, can we get the United Nations to negotiate on behalf of the earth and force the Sun to put out less energy, and thus, reduce Global Warming.

That is literally the answer, reduce solar output. Since the planet Mars is also warming, and Haliburton and the rest of the Oil Companies are not there, neither Oil, nor Human Activity can be the cause of Global Warming. Although, this basic Scientific idea to find the common denominator is beyond the rabid leftists, OK, any logical sensible approach is beyond the frothing at the mouth Liberals, we will instead punish people for something they can't possibly be doing.

Solution discovered for Global Warming

Great news for those Global Warming advocates, a solution has been found. Air Polution would reduce the amount of Global Warming, and in fact, cool the earth.

They use as a baseline the Mt. Pinetubo eruption which cooled the earth by .9 degrees.

Pinatubo shot so much sulfurous debris into the stratosphere that it is believed it cooled the Earth by 0.9 degrees for about a year.
Wigley ran scenarios of stratospheric sulfate injection — on the scale of Pinatubo's estimated 10 million tons of sulfur — through supercomputer models of the climate, and he reported that Crutzen's idea would, indeed, seem to work. Even half that amount per year would help, he wrote.

Great news, we can end Global Warming with a little Air Pollution.

Why are we rejecting Nuclear Power regarding Global Warming

I'm not going to bother debating Global Warming, and the foolish notion it is. For the sake of this commentary, I'm going to pretend that man made global warming actually exists.

Now, what are we supposed to do? We can pretend that by conservation, we can save our way out of the need for energy. That is asinine. We are an energy driven civilization. The difference between the so called first world and the third world is not a political ideology, although a stable democracy would be a huge benefit to them. It is energy. Stable dependable energy makes communication, information exchange, and health for the population. Electrical power is required for civilization today. Stable and cheap electrical power is the answer to individual needs, and provides an environment where production lines, aka factories, can operate and provide jobs.

Jobs for those of you on the left at institutions of higher learning, are what the rest of us do to get money. Jobs also means that more people are working, and producing in a society. Increased production means that individuals expect better education and lives for their children.

In other words, electricity means people have better lives. Now, I ask you folks on the left, and I honestly want to know. If you have the ability to provide cheap and reliable electricity to your public in the form of Nuclear Power, which by the way can be handled safely, why don't you do it? It produces no carbon footprint. It produces no greenhouse gases. Yet the left remains adamantly opposed to the use of this energy source.

If you insist it isn't safe, I offer this as proof. The Navy hasn't had one reactor accident in it's entire history of operations. Not one. Carriers, submarines, all run without incident. Safely.

Storage of the spent material? We have a site now, but you all don't like that site. You want us to guarantee it will be safe there for a thousand years. Impossible.

A thousand years ago, this country wasn't. No one can say that anything will or will be in one thousand years. We can say that the material can be stored and monitored there for quite some time. Yet, you oppose this still.

One can only assume that you oppose higher standards of living. You oppose cleaner air and lower emissions of greenhouse gases. In reality, what you oppose is any capitalism. You oppose anyone making a better life for themselves through hard work.

If you were seriously concerned about Global Warming instead of using the scare of it to come up with new taxes on success, you would be in favor of Nuclear Power. We know you are opposed to the lower greenhouse gas production of Nuclear, so you are really in opposition to modern life for us little people.

Time for a little Reality Check

Many people think I'm Republican. To those who believe so, I'm sorry but you're terribly wrong. I am not a Republican, I'm a Conservative. I've mentioned Democrats I could, and did, support over the years. One of those most often mentioned, Zell Miller, the former Senator, and former Governor of Georgia. 

If I was a Republican now, I would seriously consider leaving the party until such time as they figure out what the hell they intend to stand for. Since I'm not a Republican, I'm not going to leave the party, I'm not in it. 

The Republican Party is attempting to make themselves more "Populist" as they thrash about striving for an image, or something they can point to as their own. Populist doesn't mean right, nor wise. It means popular with the majority. Here is the problem with that, the obvious problem if you understand my meaning, what if the populist idea is absolutely wrong, morally, and ethically wrong? Do you stand for the idea anyway? If you're a Republican, apparently you do. 

Global Warming is nearly debunked. Seven times as many scientists are speaking out against it, as are speaking out for it. More and more scientists are coming out to say that the hysterical nonsense is just hype and the proposed solutions are not only ineffective against the claimed Global Warming threat, but disastrous to our economy and individual liberties. 

So the Republicans are staunchly opposed to this right? Not even close. The cocktail circuit populist idea is that Global Warming is real, and only Neanderthals would dare to suggest that it isn't. 

The arguments against Illegal Immigration are too numerous to list here, but allow me to highlight one I've covered in detail before, public health. The number of diseases that exist around the world, and are essentially eradicated, that means wiped out, here are too numerous to list. The principals behind Ellis Island were that we needed to make sure that our immigrant population was not bringing into our nation, at the risk of our citizens, a disease that could, and would, kill thousands, perhaps even hundreds of thousands. 

So now we don't mind the risk to hundreds of thousands of our citizens? Instead we decide that if we demand health screenings, we're evil and racist? 

Republicans should be shouting this from the rooftops, using pictures of people who are bleeding out of their eyes to show the population what risks from uncontrolled immigration could lead to. No, that would be wrong, it wouldn't be populist. 

I could go on and on and on. I've covered how the Republicans gained power over the years, by embracing the Conservative message, and taking that message, and educating the population, to the historically effective principals. Now, it's too hard. We have more communication mediums available than anyone in history. With radio, TV, and the Internet, education of the population should be an easy task. Yet, we watch the Republicans embrace the false god of Populist, and the historically demonstrative idiocy of liberal/socialist thought. 

If you wonder why I'm not a Republican, then just watch the Republicans in action. They are busy making the party Socialist, light. The Republicans are fools, and the leadership of the party should be crowned the king of fools. You can't out liberal a Democrat, and any Republican worth the name should know that instinctively. It's a shame that they don't. 

Global Warming Litigation in California

California has filed a class action lawsuit against six automakers claiming that they are causing global warming, and causing California to spend money as a result.

Besides the demonstrable truth that Global Warming is not destroying the earth, we have to say that this is flatly stupid. Amazingly stupid in fact.

I have a small piece of advice for the six automakers if you all would listen for a moment. General Motors, Ford, Toyota Motor Corp., DaimlerChrysler AG, Honda Motor Co. and Nissan Motor Co..

As of this moment, stop selling cars in California. Announce publicly that because of the hostile business environment you will no longer sell cars in California. You will fill existing orders and accept no new orders as of this date. Watch the California Government fold like a house of cards in a strong wind. It's time, past time, for the world to hold the lawyers responsible for their actions.

Government agencies buy Ford Crown Victoria cars with their V-8 engines every day, like there is no other car made. They demand the big car, they demand the power of the V-8. They demand that YOU the individual citizen not be allowed to have such a car.

Automakers, stop selling in California. Walk away from the state, and see what happens. Inside of six months, the people in California will be ready to lynch the Attorney General, and all his staff, as well as the elected representatives because they want their cars. Also the sales of cars across the state line will skyrocket as people drive cars in from Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon. It would be an awesome display of true power of the people. The short term loss would be more than made up within a couple years.

Think about it guys, starve the car hungry California and see the people ready to riot in a few months.

Feeling pretty good about starving people around the world

I admit it, hell I'm proud of it. I'm feeling damn good about starving people around the world. So they starve, that's just tough folks. I'm with the rest of the civilized world, the so called first world, in saying to you folks starving, to hell with you. We've got to have Ethanol in our fuel, and if that means you don't have anything to eat, that the estimated 852 Million people that are now hungry, may even double in the next couple years, and in fact the only chink in my armor to make me feel less good is that it may not work.

The researchers said that farmers under economic pressure to produce biofuels will increasingly "plow up more forest or grasslands," releasing much of the carbon formerly stored in plants and soils through decomposition or fires. Globally, more grasslands and forests will be converted to growing the crops to replace the loss of grains when U.S. farmers convert land to biofuels, the study said.

Now, this is obviously contrary to our stated goal of stopping global warming. I'm here to propose a ban on new farm land production. In other words, I want the UN to prohibit the production of new farm land. We must prevent the plowing up of our sacred forest and jungles to make more land to farm corn and grains to save our planet. Damn it, we environmentalists just don't give a damn if someone somewhere is starving because food isn't able to be produced. We've never cared, and we're not about to care now.

When we were warned about this problem, a year ago, and we didn't care then. Damn it, we're trying to save the earth from a non existent global warming issue. Look we've got the coldest winter on record in some areas. More snow than the biggest year of records, 1966. In fact, now we're looking at a new problem, a new ice age where tens of thousands of people might be cold if we don't change to ethanol.

For you, the nearly billion or so people who are starving, we the rest of the world say to you, tough. We've got to do something to change the planet. We can't keep being part of the problem, like you all, hopelessly consuming food and producing carbon dioxide. Why do you have any idea of your carbon foot print when you consider the ships, trucks, and workers who bring the food to you?

This is part of our new environmentalist message. Tough Love. We love to act like we care, and if our polices once enacted harm someone, tough.

John McCain says he's for cheap energy.

In a great advertisement, McCain says he's in favor of cheap and clean energy.

Announcer: "As president, John McCain will make taxes simpler, fairer; energy cleaner, cheaper; health care portable and affordable; corporate CEOs accountable; mortgage debt restructured. Big ideas for serious problems. John McCain."

John McCain. Big idea's for serious problems. His answers all involve more Government. He ignores any evidence to the contrary regarding Global Warming, instead embracing the religious like fervor and just says we're going to put a cap and trade, you can read that to mean huge tax increase, on the public and they can deal with it. Sure 31,000 scientists have signed a letter denouncing Global Warming, but you know, at least a dozen of them are paid by the Oil Companies.



A vote for McCain is a vote for higher taxes. Heck, when he gets done taxing our energy we won't have to worry about mortgages, no one will be able to live in a house or condo, instead the family will be stuffed into a small one room apartment ala Soviet Union.

A vote for McCain is not a vote for conservative values. A vote for McCain is a vote for hysteronics and socialism. If you're going to go with a Socialist, why not go with the original, instead of a pale imitation. Vote Obama, or Clinton, or Third Party. Just don't vote for McCain, the Conservative Movement may never recover.

Was it a good day Mr. President?

The next installment of the perpetual bad spending act, also known as the Crap Sandwich 5.0 passed the House of Representatives. Interestingly enough, the Republicans to a representative, voted no. 

So the bad bill, which is nothing more than a plethora of political payoff's to the far left wing supporters of the Democrats. There is literally nothing there for the average guy. 

$5.2 Billion to ACORN, the often investigated and prosecuted for Voter Fraud group that President Obama has no association with, other than his working with them, and for them. 

The charges of partisan political payback appear to be resonating in part due to Obama’s longstanding association with partisan get-out-the-vote operations. He was endorsed by ACORN, and during the campaign paid an ACORN affiliate $832,600 to get-out-the-vote assistance. Early in his career, he led a voter drive for an ACORN-affiliated group called Project Vote.

It’s not the first time ACORN has been entangled in a bailout controversy. In September, House Republicans objected that the original $700 billion bailout package included $100 million for ACORN – a tiny fraction of the sums for ACORN now being considered in the stimulus package.

The Republicans did something right, so I have to assume that President Obama isn't happy about the inability of the President to claim that the horrible spending bill that wastes tons of money on payback for the election. 

Then on the Global Warming front, Former Vice President Al Gore, who has demonstrated that he is completely out of touch with reality, testified about Global Warming on a day that a vicious ice storm lashed Washington DC. Seriously. 

Mr. President, this may be a good day, your plan passed the House of Representatives. It's not a good day, because now, the Democrats own this Recession, and the nonsense payoffs in your plan won't do a thing to stop the Recession, in fact, they will help force it into a full blown official Depression. You won't be able to blame the Republicans, or Conservatives. It's all yours. 

Instead of paying off your political chits, you should have considered this little fact. Our Corporate Tax Rate is 35%. That is the highest of any industrialized nation. That corporate tax rate is in fact, a tariff on American Business's. They have to charge 35% more than the competition, in order to pay your tax. It's yours now Mr. President, because you didn't lift a finger to stimulate the economy. You didn't do anything to level the playing field. Instead, you saddled our great grandchildren's great grandchildren with this boondoggle. 

The Economy is going to be your quagmire Mr. President. Well, one of them. I predicted this as many of you may remember. I'm really enjoying the show, I've had a big smile on my face for weeks now. 

Hey, here's a campaign slogan for Sarah Palin or whoever the Republicans Nominate. "It's time for the Grownups to be in charge." 

Mount Redoubt

Reports are now coming in that Mount Redoubt, the Volcano in Alaska is very near to erupting. Our only hope is that it does so quickly. That may sound just awful, but there is a very good reason.

The Glacier on the north side of the Mountain is melting. Now those of us with a modicum of common sense would say that it's painfully obvious that the magma, liquid hot rock, is causing it.

However as we all know, Liberals have not one shred of common sense. At any moment, Al Gore desperate for something to point at to shore up the dwindling numbers of those who believe in Man Made Global Warming is liable to show up and swear that he predicted that Global Warming would cause this Glacier to melt.

We all know poor Al Gore is close to the breaking point. How much more setback can he be expected to endure?

Liberals, turn off that computer, get off the net, and save the world.

In the Research we could have lived happily without, a researcher who is hoping to fool all of you into signing up for his "green internet hosting" has now determined without any actual data from Google, that two google searches increases your carbon footprint dramatically. It uses as much electricity, and produces as much CO2 as boiling a kettle of water to make your tea. 

I must insist that all liberals who claim to believe in Man Made Global Warming, no matter what the politically correct term is this week. (I think it's Human Activity Induced Global Climate Change) You must show you love the earth and immediately get off the internet. Turn out those lights for the love of Mother Earth. Do you have any idea how awful you're hurting her?

Seriously. Friends let's take a moment here and be honest. The record cold temperatures that are making headlines all over the world are a result of a prolonged period of solar inactivity. The warming trend before that was from a prolonged period of solar activity. You see, that big bright thing up in the sky is really really hot. It's freaking amazingly hot. We're talking hotter than downtown Las Vegas in the summertime. It is a very short distance away, it's only about eight light minutes from where we are right this moment. Now, that may sound like a lot, but when you consider that the nearest other star is light years, not months, years away, that puts things into perspective don't you think?

Libs. Stop trying to scare people into buying your service, and quit trying to tell me that simply by breathing, I can destroy the earth. That's asinine. The fact that six hundred and fifty scientists just signed a letter saying you all are nuttier than a fruit cake in May should give you an idea. 

New President, same old Liberals.

The Liberal world is outraged that Rush Limbaugh hasn't had the good grace to shrivel up and die or commit suicide after Obama's election. The same people who who rang in the start of President Bush's time in the White House with "He's Not My President." Now complain that Limbaugh want's President Obama to fail, and that's horrible. Limbaugh should be driven off the radio, and should not be on Armed Forces Radio. In spite of the troops having spoken in many polls about who they want to hear, Limbaugh is number one on those polls by the way. 

As you can see in that video clip, Rush would like to see President Obama succeed, if he implements Conservative Principals. That would be success for America. Instead of the Socialist Policies historically demonstrated to fail. If President Obama succeeds in implementing those Socialist Policies, then America fails as a result. 

If you also bothered to watch the clip, Limbaugh also says that President Obama is "My President." 

No where in history can you find a successful use of Socialism. The Chinese are moving away from it. The Soviet's fell because of it. Cuba is stuck in the 1950's because of it. Anywhere Socialism is tried, it fails for the people it supposedly serves. If President Obama is successful in his and the Liberals stated objective of inflicting Socialist Policy on the people, then the nation fails. 

So Liberals, let me ask you this question. Is President Obama now larger, more important than the nation? It used to be said that the Office of the Presidency was larger than the person who held it. Now, is the person bigger than the entire nation that the office oversees?

Personally, I believe that President Obama is going to be successful in inflicting the socialist agenda on the people. I believe that taxes are going to skyrocket, and I believe that unemployment will reach double digits. I believe that President Obama and the Liberals will come after guns, and inflict the Cap and Trade nonsense to stop Non Existent man  made Global Warming in the midst of Naturally induced Global Cooling. 

Personally, I can say that I wish that all that wouldn't happen, because all of that is bad for the country, bad for the people, and will lead to tens of thousands of dead people, mostly poor and elderly. The Liberals feel that dead elderly and poor represent great compassion. 

Where are the Homeless?

In a previous thread, I talked about Propaganda, and how it is used to spin the news. It is also used to ignore the news. I thought of that when I saw a news story, but I need to set it up for a minute.

When George W. Bush was President, every winter we saw news stories about the Homeless. Now since Barack Obama has become President, news stories are few and far between. Since President Obama has been elected, I've not read or heard one story about the first Homeless to freeze to death. Apparently Global Warming and the love of the Liberals is preventing people from freezing to death anymore. Perhaps that is why they call it warm and fuzzy thoughts.

Now, what are the facts? Foreclosures have been very high since the housing bubble burst. Unemployment is high, so there are fewer people working. Now, we have people being tossed out of their homes that they can't afford. We have people who can't afford them because they are unemployed. In both cases, the numbers are very high. Yet, we don't have a homeless problem?

Truth is where you match the facts, with the propaganda, and find what is really going on. Propaganda says that there is no homeless problem. We know that because the media, including Fox News isn't reporting on it. If there is a news story from the MSM, we see it as usually some Government agency telling a charity to stop feeding the homeless. I guess that's a solution, I mean starvation would reduce the numbers of homeless.

So where do we find the truth? Why we find out what is going on in our nation by reading the press from London England. Yes, Great Britain is reporting on Homeless living in Storm Sewers in Las Vegas.

Now, if Mitt Romney had been elected, this would be the lead story on every nightly news channel in the nation. How awful that people are living in sewers. What does President Romney propose we do about that? Instead, no news is good news right?

So the good news is as long as President Obama is in office, we won't have any Homeless in the nation, not so far as the news is concerned.

Al Gore runs mouth, New promises of disaster

As if Al Gore isn't now a bad enough joke, the former Vice President and leading contender for dolt of the year was in Germany explaining to the mind numbed that the Polar Ice Caps would be completely gone in five years. 

I wish I was joking. Talk about scaremongering. Al, Mr. Former Vice President who couldn't manage to win his own state in the election of 2000. Are you out of your ever loving mind? 

Six hundred and fifty scientists just signed a document saying that Man Made Global Warming was a lie, and the UN Climate Panic Panel was absolutely wrong. The UN had 52 Scientists, the opponents have 650. I thought the consensus of opinion was what mattered, now it's only if they agree with the rapidly shrinking minority? Mr. Former Vice President, the only thing shrinking is the number of people who think you know what you are talking about.

Corporate Taxes, or Truth about High Taxes

First, it must be understood that the Tax Code isn't written to collect Taxes, it's written to control the population.

Now, what do I mean about that. There are literally more pages in the Tax Code than the Bible.

Now all those pages are loopholes that someone put in to help a friend, or contributor. Now, when you consider that the Democratic Party has had control of Congress a vast majority of the time, you are left with the obvious problem, that this Tax code was designed by Democrats the same way the Unions were, to keep Democrats in power.

Now, what got me started on this was a post at Democratic Underground, where there is only one approved subject matter, supporting Democrats, regarding Bernie Sanders, Senator, (Socialist).

This post referenced a list that Bernie had put out, on Ten Corporations that had paid no taxes.

Now what is interesting, is that the facts are not even brushed over. Just the blast that Exxon got $19 Billion in Profits, and a Rebate from the IRS for $156 Million.

Now, how did Exxon do this? Unlike you and me and other "Regular" people. Exxon hires a bunch of Attorneys to go over each line of the Tax Code with the singular desire to save the company money. They shift money to qualify for this break, or that loophole. Now, these are the same pages of the law, almost all of it written by Democrats, that the Democratic Supporters are now screaming is unfair. As an example, if you put Solar Panels on your roof, you qualify for a Green Energy tax credit. If you change the insulation, or if you build a headquarters with Green Energy policies, you get another credit. If you use all these silly little do nothing but make you feel good things to combat Global Warming, you get credits.

Wait, there's more. By brewing Ethanol, that is to say, turning our food into gasoline, in accordance with Federal Law on the matter, you are then qualifying for subsidies to make sure that the Average Consumer doesn't know that Ethanol is more expensive to make and less useful than Gasoline.

So by wisely choosing to take advantage of all these tax breaks, and all these credits. Exxon invested in green energy, and approved programs. They instituted a Diversity Awareness program, EEOC, and every other mandated, and encouraged program out there. They put up information about carpool opportunities, and qualify for another tax break.

Now, each and every one of those dollars is taxed. When Exxon makes a profit, they pay that profit to stockholders. The stockholders are people like you, and me, who are trying to invest in our future and set money aside for our retirement. We make dividends on those earnings, and we report them to the Government, and we pay taxes on those dividends. It's called Capital Gains taxes.

So all the histrionics from the Libs is both predictable, and deplorable. First they write the laws to benefit their campaign cronies, and then they denounce those same cronies in an effort to stir up the base to cough up even more dough for the re-election campaign. Then they promise more favorable laws to the cronies, to get more campaign contributions from them.

The cronies know they have to be denounced from time to time to make the dumb voters turn out and vote Democratic. They accept this as a price of doing business. The only ones who are really being played are you Democrat supporters who think that anyone in Washington cares about what you're shouting about. They are the ones who wrote those laws. Most you approved of to help save the planet and green energy this and that. Now, you're angry because rich people are using those same laws that you wanted to save the planet to pay less in taxes.

The laws are on the books, the companies are merely serving you, and me, in finding as many opportunities to save money, as possible. If the Government put as much effort in saving money, then we wouldn't have a trillion dollar a year deficit. Instead, the Government puts that much effort into finding new ways to SPEND money they don't have, instead of saving the money they do have.

I believe the phrase here is, don't hate the player, hate the game.
