Pat Buchanan, what are you thinking?

Pat Buchanan, once a leading thinker of the Conservative movement, has become the embarrasing uncle that shows up during holidays. Once the epitome of conservativism, he has become the cheerleader of the Country Club Republicans that were once defeated under President Reagan.

Pat Buchanan has now declared the Bush Doctrine dead. Why? Well the ongoing war between Lebanon and Isreal of course.

Now, Israel's rampage against a defenseless Lebanon – smashing airport runways, fuel tanks, power plants, gas stations, lighthouses, bridges, roads and the occasional refugee convoy – has exposed Bush's folly in subcontracting U.S. policy out to Tel Aviv, thus making Israel the custodian of our reputation and interests in the Middle East.

Defenseless Lebanon? I am assuming that the 13,000 rockets that are possessed by Hezbullah don't count as defenses right? Mr. Buchanan, that is frankly an asinine statement.

The Bush Doctrine is not something where peace breaks out immediately. Peace is not the absence of violence Mr. Buchanan, it's the absence of threat. If someone is pointing a gun at your head, you are not at peace because they haven't yet pulled the trigger, you are in a violent situation.

The Bush Doctrine is that we will hunt down Terrorists, hunt them down and punish the states that support them. In short, the policy is no more Mr. Nice Guy. Mr. Buchanan, I suggest that you consider something for a moment. When you start to sound like the Liberal Media, perhaps you should re-examine your statements and beliefs. Perhaps you should consider that Mr. Buchanan, because the Press has been consistantly opposed to America, and now you sound like them.

World Jump Day, more Liberal Stupidity

World Jump Day, where 600,000,000 people jump up and down at the same time, and adjust the orbit of the earth. The reason for this? The Liberals wish to combat non existant man made global warming. I could expound on the obvious stupidity, but instead am just going to laugh at the morons, and let you all laugh with me.

Liberals dare to be stupid.

Apparently, Liberals are outraged that Conservatives unapologetically continue to exist, and continue to hold fast to time tested ideals, despite the histrionics of the left. Now, the Liberals are demanding an investigation into Conservatives, Libertarians, and other right wing bloggers, apparently to see if we are receiving our marching orders from the ghostlike Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. Liberals, it's called Free Thought, you should try it sometime.

Let me explain, recently there has been a rash of Blog V. Blog battles where the Liberals consistently threaten the safety of the Conservative, the Conservative's family, or post personal information so the Anarchy minded Left Wing Loonies will target the individual for harassment. Now in response, the Conservatives have responded in kind, complaining about the threats from the left wing, to appropriate authorities, and this is "outrageous" to the left. Why don't the Liberals understand that Free Speech is not an automatic pass on illegal or immoral behavior?

Glen Greenwald, far left wing believer has this post on his site. He wants articles from Journalists on Pro Bush Bloggers. Yep, the danger in the world isn't Terrorists, it's people who oppose the Liberal Lies. What kind of Liberal Lies? From the comments on Greenwalds site. The comment was in response to another comment stating we were all in the war on Terror Together.

Uh, I'm not. "Woooo...bad people are out to get us." Yes, there are bad people in the world. There have been for a thousand year. They were there before 9/11, and they are there after 9/11. Nothing has changed. Nothing. This whole "great war on terror" is a phantom, an illusionary bogeyman conjured up by people who need bogeymen. I don't. So no, this is not "my" war, it is in fact your war. Leave me out of it

Like we needed more proof that Liberals are not to be trusted with National Security.

Greewald is outraged, outraged, that we Conservatives dare exist. He is even more outraged that the Blogs for Bush site calls on Wilson and Plame to be tried and jailed for their actions.

To help you out on that Glen. Wilson lied, it has been proven, and under oath before Congress he admitted he lied in his oped. For those who have issues with this, I suggest you read the pre-Iraq War Intel Report. In short.

One thing that jumps out at you is the grudging way that the Senate Committee states that just about all of the CIA conclusions were reasonable and accurate statements of information on hand.

Gee, that must really upset you lefties. Probably why you misrepresent the statements in the over 500 pages. Probably too busy watching Michael Moore's movie again to bother reading the book.

As for Media Matters, look here is a suggestion, if your objective is to demonstrate the Conservative Bias of the Media, you really need a life. Even starting with the idea that the Main Stream Media, or Old Media, or Drive By Media, is Conservative at all is laughable.

Check the historical uses of the charge for Treason. Axis Sally, Tokyo Rose, and others were charged with Treason after World War II. What changed the meaning of the charge was Hanoi Jane Fonda, for some reason the Government didn't feel comfortable charging her. I still am unable to fathom why, but that is me.

Liberals, let's be honest, what really has you upset these days is the Conservatives are using the New media to out you all as the treason loving folks you all are. You are having your words tossed back at you, unapologetically, and without the flattering coverage of your "courage". You call it inaccurately "speaking truth to power" while we categorize our actions as "speaking truth to loons" which is more accurate in my opinion.

Global Warming is not destroying the earth

Friends, can we be honest for once here? Man's effect on climate is frankly, minimal, and how do we know this? Because until 1970, we were cooling, and we were putting out tons of pollutants at the time.

Also, historically all the great environmentalists claims and crusades have caused more harm than they supposedly fixed. The banning of DDT for example has led to 2 million deaths a year from Malaria. The dangers of DDT were not only overstated, but frankly, created out of thin air. Environmentalists still demand that no DDT be used, happily ignoring the dangers to the people who are denied this beneficial chemical that nearly ended typhus, and reduces Malaria deaths.

We can also look to the last Court Ordered, and Scientifically questionable issue of the last age and see remarkable similarities. Eugenics won court approval, was widely quoted as good science, considered brilliant when shaping public policy, and was wrong. It counted among it's supporters many nations that now are shilling for Global Warming "Science". Hitler was a firm believer in the Eugenics movement. Now we know that it's all a bunch of pseudo scientific hype. Those who stated that fact when Eugenics was sweeping the globe were shouted down as liars, much as Global Warming skeptics are today.

As an aside, I offer this site, which is trying to find a viable way to destroy the earth, and finds all the proposed means laughable. Suffice to say that destroying the earth is much harder than you might think, you are going to have to do a bit more than drive your car to contribute to it. A few billion square yards of mirrors positioned in space might do it, but short of that.

Let's look at the claims for a moment, of sites like this one. Among other doomsday claims.

Deaths from global warming will double in just 25 years -- to 300,000 people a year.

Gee, as pointed out in my last article, there are roughly 1 million abortions a year in this nation. There are 45 million per year in the world. A rather large difference, which Liberals are want to even discuss.

Global Warming isn't science, science looks at situations to learn, not to justify more funding and massive social change. That is what the Global Warming folks want, massive social change, for everyone but THEM.

Why don't the Liberals understand

In yet another proof of the demonstrable truth, Liberals can't be trusted with National Security, Michelle Malkin shows us the truth about the NY Times beliefs on the War on Terror. For some reason, the NY Times blames the President for their own actions attempting to defeat us in the War on Terror. It's Bush's fault the NY Times is filled with traitors. A perfect example is this picture.

This picture is a sniper shooting at the American Military Personnel, I can only presume that this picture is one of those 2500+ personnel that the times think is just too many. The Times credits the photographer with "Incredible Courage". I believe that this is an embedded reporter with the enemy forces. After all, a reporter purportedly told Rumsfeld that if they were embedded with American forces, it looked like they were working for the "other side". Note, I am quoting an article on Michael Moore's website.

According to the NY Times Editorial. It is only now, nearly five years after Sept. 11, that the full picture of the Bush administration’s response to the terror attacks is becoming clear. Much of it, we can see now, had far less to do with fighting Osama bin Laden than with expanding presidential power.

Apparently, the NY Times is about as stupid as the rest of the Liberals, who make up History to satisfy their point today. President Bush told us, and Congress approved a series of actions on Terrorism, and Terrorists, not just Osama Libs. From the President's speech on 20 September 2001.
Our war on terror begins with al Qaeda, but it does not end there.
It will not end until every terrorist group of global reach has been found, stopped and defeated.

We aren't looking to punish one man, or one small subset of a group to get revenge for 9-11. Our goal is to make sure that 9-11 never happens again. It is a difficult goal, probably impossible in all honesty. However it is an admirable goal. One worthy of our nation, and one worthy of the world. I don't want to see another attack, even on San Francisco, which is so far left as to be nearly Socialist in nature. Even there, I don't want to see people die because of a terrorist attack. That which harms our ability to prevent the next 9-11 is bad, and that which aids us in preventing the next 9-11 is good for our cause.

Howard Dean says we have lost our Moral Leadership. Is it more moral or less moral to have buildings knocked down by terrorist attacks?

Our national security is too important to trust to Liberals, thus it's too important to trust to Democrats who are at the beck and call of Liberal loonies. Senator Barbra Boxer is even now learning that the Liberal Loons will sacrafice all other issues at the alter of American Defeat.

One leader of the Progressive Democrats of America, Mervis Reissig of Sonoma County, said: ``I'm in a state of shock. What Sen. Boxer is doing is a total invalidation of one of our main values. Right now the war is a more important issue than choice.''

So Liberals claim to be willing to sacrafice Abortion to the alter of defeating Americans overseas. Frankly, that demonstrates how illogical and immoral the Liberals are. We have lost over 2500 military personnel in three years of fighting the war on Terror in Iraq. We have seen an estimated 3 million abortions performed in that same time period. It's a shame that the Liberals can't count the numbers of children dead at the hands of their beloved Abortion Clinics.

National security is too important to trust to Liberals.

Can someone explain why Microsoft doesn't fight back?

Microsoft has been fined by every Government in the world, mainly so they can get some money from a Corporation which has been hugely successful. The main complaint by the way, is that Microsoft offers you a starting point to customize your computer. The EU is ready to start fining Microsoft by the day for offering the most successful software in the world.

Hey Microsoft, want some advice? Want to watch the EU drop this harassment and offer to settle by Friday?

On Tuesday, announce that because of the EU's harassment, effective Friday, no more Microsoft licenses for the software will be authorized.

Make the announcement as follows. "In an effort to spur the competition that the EU feels is waiting in the wings, Microsoft will no longer allow it's product to be purchased or used in the European Union. Good luck with the Information Age.

I wasn't blogging at the time, however this is the advice I offered when Microsoft was sued by the Federal Government. I said that Microsoft would be doing the world a favor if they announced that they were going to encourage competition by refusing to license the product to the Federal Government. The Feds would promptly fill their underwear at the idea of finding another computer operating system that would read, and manage all the previous documents and e-mail.

OK, I know Bill is out of the day to day operations at Microsoft, however can someone there have a good time this week and nuke the EU? You can't be violating a ruling of a bunch of greedy politicians in Europe if you aren't doing business in Europe. I bet money that the EU would quietly decide your efforts were more than adequate to be in compliance with the ruling in Europe.

Airline safety plan, Really Annoying=Really Safe

Ann Coulter raged against stupid Security Procedures in her article on the 20th of September, 2001. Really Annoying isn't equal to safe no matter how annoying it is. From the article: JUST as I predicted, the new "security procedures" adopted by the U.S. Department of Transportation in response to the most deadly hijackings in history will be incredibly burdensome for millions of American travelers but, at the same time, will do absolutely nothing to deter hijackers.

I point this out because despite the really annoying checks we assumed that anyone who had something that would scream "Danger Will Robinson" in a nice loud voice, we learn that despite those checks, nothing happens.

I must take a moment and thank Hot Air for this one.

I think I can explain the situation for you all. A man, with a Muslim name, who packed a battery taped to a clock in his carry on luggage, also had hollowed out shoes. In short, he had everything but the explosives and that alone should have gotten him out of the airport in one hell of a hurry right? No, they PUT THE MAN ON THE PLANE. Good news is that FBI agents talked to this suspicious man at his destination. Now, if he had been planning on blowing up the plane, the FBI would have had to travel to the wreckage site to question the remains, but it's good to know they are following up right?

Houston police and the federal Transportation Security Administration disagree over who is responsible for allowing a man with what appeared to be bomb components board an aircraft at Hobby Airport last week.
Although the FBI eventually cleared the man of wrongdoing, police officials have transferred the officer involved and are investigating the incident while insisting that the TSA, not police, has the authority to keep a suspicious person from boarding a flight.

Now, Hobby Airport is also known as the Houston Airport in Texas for those who don't know.

The incident gained enough attention at higher levels of the TSA that the FBI was asked to investigate. The TSA issued a statement saying its screeners "acted in accordance with their training and protocols."
FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett in Atlanta said agents there investigated the passenger.
"It was looked at and deemed a non-event," Emmett said, declining to give further details.

Atlanta is in Georgia (my own state of Residence) which is just about 800 miles from Hobby airport in Houston Texas. They literally put a man on the plan who had bomb making materials, components needed to make a bomb, and then questioned him when he arrived 800 miles away.
A Non Event, would it have been a non event if the plan had blown up over Arkansas? I just want to make sure that we are on the same sheet of music.

We are no safer on aircraft today than we were on September 10th 2001. In fact, the false sense of security we experience from the Really Annoying searches and waits is worse than the lack of security we saw evidenced on 9-11.

UPDATE: Michelle Malkin and It Shines For All are also reporting on this.

Liberal NY Times surprised on tax revenue, again

Once again the NY Times has been surprised, that tax revenues have increased with the reduction of taxes. Those of us who are Conservative to the core, are not surprised, we are of course, not shocked in the least. It is what always happens when you lower taxes, more money moves in the economy, more people are hired, more people buy more items, and more people are hired to build and transport the items.

In a brief history lesson to my Delusional friends who denounce all Conservative things, check on these numbers if you doubt me. Tax Revenue collected in 1980 roughly $500 Billion (Thousand Million) as opposed to the 1990 collection of roughly $1 Trillion (thousand thousand million) with demonstrable increases in collected revenues each year.

In 1980, plenty of Liberal professors with little or no idea how the real world works, penned many opinionated reports on how the Prohibitive Tax or too high tax, was not yet to the prohibitive level. Yet, history clearly shows the economy took off under the Reagan tax plan, what didn't kick in with it was responsible spending from Washington DC. That is a matter in which I believe both parties need much work. The Democrats were spending hog wild in the 1980's and early 1990's until the Republicans won control. Then spending was reduced, growth of Federal Programs was reduced, and balanced budges were on the horizon, although not yet reached.

Spending control is what is missing, Congress continues to spend like the money is water, and that needs changing, and I hope change is on the horizon. I don't think the Democrats have the intestinal fortitude to manage spending in a responsible manner as a party platform, yet I agree change is needed. As a history, many of the Democratic Party Leaders were not fiscally conservative when their party was in the majority. Frankly, they grew social programs like they were going to save the world. They didn't save the world, and I wonder what will have to happen before the Democrats admit defeat in the war on Poverty. You can't give money away forever folks.

From the NY Times Article: WASHINGTON, July 8 An unexpectedly steep rise in tax revenues from corporations and the wealthy is driving down the projected budget deficit this year, even though spending has climbed sharply because of the war in Iraq and the cost of hurricane relief.
On Tuesday, White House officials are expected to announce that the tax receipts will be about $250 billion above last year's levels and that the deficit will be about $100 billion less than what they projected six months ago. The rising tide in tax payments has been building for months, but the increased scale is surprising even seasoned budget analysts and making it easier for both the administration and Congress to finesse the big run-up in spending over the past year.
Tax revenues are climbing twice as fast as the administration predicted in February, so fast that the budget deficit could actually decline this year.

You see, taxes should be used to keep a balance between too rapid growth, or the problem of overemployment which means that businesses start a virtual bidding war to pay employees more, which is inflationary in nature for those of you without a modicum of common sense. The other side is underemployment where too large a percentage of the population is not employed, and thus not paying taxes. That is the delicate balance that is affected by so many factors it is impossible to describe in a fairly concise manner in a blog posting, however it works.

Reagan showed us it worked, Kennedy showed it worked, and now George W. Bush has shown it will work. Raise taxes, slow the economy, increase unemployment, and hello inevitable recession. Lower taxes, gas the economy, increase EMPLOYMENT, and increase growth of the Gross Domestic Product, and INCREASE TAX REVENUE COLLECTIONS.

It has worked every time is has been tried, higher taxes don't help the economy, they damage the economy, and see which party thinks the economy needs to be punished. It is the Democrats, who call for higher taxes.

Helping the Liberals understand the case of Lieutenant Watada

Lieutenant Watada has been charged under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) which is the law that all service people live under. The specifics of the charge are fairly simple, and frankly, Lieutenant Watada is going to be sentenced to Prison, and receive a Dishonorable Discharge. That by the way means a Felony Conviction, which will affect Lieutenant Watada for the rest of his life.

Lieutenant Watada will be tried under MILITARY COURTS, which do not have Civillian rules of evidence, or Civillian rules of conduct. In other words, you can't chase rabbits down Alice's hole to see how far the hole goes. The questions that are going to be asked are 1) Did you do this? 2) Were you informed that this was illegal under the UCMJ? When the answers to both are yes, that pretty much ends the discussion.

The Liberals are very confused, even the former Military Liberals (of which there are a few) aren't helping matters with the Delusional ones. Perhaps the former Military folks on the Liberal side don't remember some of the details of a Courts Martial proceeding. First, you don't get to appeal the ruling to the Federal Appeals Courts, you appeal it to the US Court of Military Appeals, which again looks at the decision based upon Military Laws. If you appeal it beyond that, to the US Supreme Court, then you are still judged not by Civillian Courts, or Civillian laws, you are again judged based upon Military Law, if your case is accepted, which most aren't.

Even Human Rights watch understands the Military law, somewhat, by comparing the rights accused Military people get with the Detained Terrorists at Club Gitmo.

Lieutenant Watada is charged, will be tried, convicted, and sentenced under the laws he swore to obey when he accepted his commission. He listened to Liberals and bought the lies that they tell and now will be punished by the community he thought he was going to join.

Hot Air is tracking this as well.

Cindy Sheehan, Starving for Attention

I will admit that the title of the most current online post from Mother Sheehan is aptly titled. Starving for Attention, as found on Michael Moore's website. Starving for attention, last year, Mother Sheehan was the only buzz you heard from the left, convinced as they were that this unassailable poor distraught Communist would be perfect for destroying the Conservatives. However after a month of Mother Sheehan morning, noon, and night, staged photo ops, and staged events, she hadn't changed any minds, and in fact had helped bolster the Pro War on Terror argument.

Now, Mother Sheehan, previously posted here, has launched another tirade today, calling it the Sheehan Fast day one. Code Pink has lot's of pictures up, (Code Pink by the way is the all too well known Communist agitation group) however pictures of people not eating is always like pictures of people who aren't playing baseball. They don't say anything. Now, show me the emaciated corpse of Cindy Sheehan, and we can talk.

As you know, in my previous post, I suggested that Cindy and the Communist Socialist hate America First crowd would make more news taking action like that pictured here. Certainly it would make more headlines that Cindy skips a meal on the Hollywood "I have to fit in my dress" diet.

Oh, on the Hollywood fasting, aren't they like the highest concentration of people with Eating Disorders anyway? Didn't Hollywood pretty much invent Bulemia?

Different Views of Independance Day

We celebrate July 4 because of the signing of the Declaration of Independance. In 1776, we began a grand experiment. Many people believed it was impossible, that we would never defeat the British Army, yet the Colonists decided they must fight. They fought against unfair and dictatorial rule, actions which they believed were immoral, and a violation of God's intended freedom for man.

The signers of the Declaration pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to one another. They pledged to the dream of Independance. No one yet had defeated England and it was very likely that the Rebellion would be put down, those that participated executed, and the British Rule would continue.

It is impossible for one of us today to consider what effort was undertook to even consider this action. We see thousands every year who take our liberty for granted, and denounce Patriots as fools, liars, or worse. The signers of the Declaration of Independance understood that they faced death for Treason, to be hung by the neck until dead, for putting their names on that paper.

Liberals love to denounce Nationalism, and Patriotism. They denounce these ideals as foolish, immature, and old fashioned. They denounce people who identify themselves with such words as worse than that. They love to call Patriots Nazi's, Fascists, and often much much worse. While we ignore the sacrifice of our founders, Men and Women who risked life, limb, and honor to create a new nation in favor of those same people's mistakes.

Our History isn't all glory and honor, we Americans have made mistakes. We corrected as many of those mistakes however. Sure, many of the Founding Fathers were Slave Owners. It was common, and contrary to what Alex Halley wrote in Roots, the owners cared for their slaves. There were Black Slave owners too, in Europe the practice was called Indentured Servants. However, the slaves were freed. There is no one alive today who is a slave. There is no one alive who owned a slave. The practice of Slavery is now History, not Current Events. Yet, we are perpetually reminded that we once owned slaves. Sure, and your point would be?

We decided to form a more perfect Union than we had, not a perfect nation, but a better one than we had, and we achieved the impossible. We defeated the British, and forced a surrender. We had to fight again in 1812, but that is also HISTORY, not Current Events.

Howard Zinn, a Liberal, even a Socialist, calls for us to lay down the flags, and denounce Nationalism. I will point out that Mr. Zinn served in WWII as a Bombadier, and that service, much as Jack Murtha's is deserving of some respect. However, much like Mr. Murtha, it is not an excuse for his current undertaking.

On this July 4, we would do well to renounce nationalism and all its symbols: its flags, its pledges of allegiance, its anthems, its insistence in song that God must single out America to be blessed.

Is not nationalism -- that devotion to a flag, an anthem, a boundary so fierce it engenders mass murder -- one of the great evils of our time, along with racism, along with religious hatred?

These ways of thinking -- cultivated, nurtured, indoctrinated from childhood on -- have been useful to those in power, and deadly for those out of power.

Mr. Zinn later cites "abuses" that have dishonored this nation, including the standard claims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Mr. Zinn, I suggest you are a fool.

The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki saved millions of lives. The Japanese had taken to arming girls with Bamboo spears to fight off the invaders. If we had not bombed the Japanese into surrender, we would have had to kill Men, Women, and Children all the way to The emperors Palace, and probably beyond. The bad thing about a war is simple, you have to kill. Once a War is started, one side must win, and one side must lose. I prefer to be on the winning side, helping our former enemy back to his feet, and showing him the benefit of Democracy, and helping form a new more perfect union. That is the American Way, once we defeat an enemy, helping to reform a working nation phoenix like from the ashes of the destroyed Government. With a little luck, in the next Generation, that former enemy will be a valued and steadfast ally for the next challenge.

Mr. Zinn fails to realize that every Generation of Americans until recently, has been better than the one before. President Wilson couldn't get his ideals through, and the League of Nations was doomed before it began, and we were drawn into a second World War. We learned from that mistake, and made sure that we didn't have those conditions after that second War. We prayed that it would be the last war, we were wrong. Korea was next, and again we made mistakes. Again we learned from those mistakes. In Viet-Nam, the Liberals were overjoyed. With the assistance of the American Communist Movement, the North Vietnamese were able to sign a peace treaty, and then break that treaty. We try hard not to repeat those mistakes, and I have to wonder why a Historian would ignore the lesson of Nevil Chamberlain. I would think that the lessons of the futility of appeasement were too obvious to be missed, yet they are missed.

Mr. Zinn may feel flags and Nationalism are foolish, however I promise you if we toss ours down, some Dictator will raise his own flag over our heads for us. Mr. Zinn may not mind that, but I most certainly would.

Cindy Sheehan on Hunger Strike for peace.

I need to point out I was laughing about this, because to me it's very very funny. The Delusional Underground is complaining that the News Media isn't covering Cindy's hunger strike. One of the Delusional Underground folks suggest that they have a Hot Dog Eating Contest for Peace. The Hollywood loons are joining in the fast as well.

Cindy, the idea of a hunger strike doesn't strike much interest in the Pro War folks like me. You see Cindy, we figure you are going to be scarfing Trail Mix, or Granola Bars when the Television Camera's aren't looking.

Now, what kind of Anti-War protests do get my attention? Not the kind favored by the left. Marches, psudo die in, vomit for peace, those just don't get the point across if you know what I mean. What would we like to see you all do? First, don't just fast for a day or two, starve yourself to death. That would be a good first step, but it takes too long. Remember that it has to be flashy to get attention.

What would be flashier than setting yourself on fire?

Democrats concerned about Jack Murtha's seat

Jack Murtha, all around hero to the surrender now forces in our nation, is in trouble, as predicted here, and the Democrats have noticed. In fact, they are nearly in a panic over the thought of Jack Murtha being voted out of Congress. They are of course, whipping out the playbook, and going by the standard index card, and going right down the line.

Rule 1, All Republicans are full of hysterical hate.

Irey's Hysterical 'Call to Action' Against Murtha....His [Murtha's] opponent is little-known Republican Diana Irey, a Washington County Commissioner who appears to now specialize in attacking Murtha's patriotism

Rule 2, All Republicans are Racists

There's a shocker. Irey's lucky that David Duke didn't relocate to Pennsylvania to run for Murtha's seat or it would have been tougher to get the coveted Gallagher endorsement.

Rule 3, All Republicans are dumb and unqualified liars. As evidenced by this obviously doctored and stupidly doctored banner. You see, the Democrats have already used the "No Truth Zone" to describe Bill O'Reily. Well, we already know that Liberals, as opposed to sentient beings, have a limited number of memorized talking points. They will inevitably recycle them time and time again.

Rule 4, Repeat often

I just love it when the Democrats keep pulling out the same old tired nonsense and whip it into a frenzy.

Jack Murtha, what a great guy, did you know he was a Marine? As I said in that thread. Lee Harvey Oswald was a former Marine, so was Charles Whitman. Eric Rudolph, Terry Nichols, and of course Timothy McVeigh were also ex Military, but that doesn't excuse their actions, any more than military service excuses Jack Murtha.

What has the Democrats all in a panic over Jack Murtha? I don't know, but I will guess that someone did a poll, and found that the people in Jacks district are liable to vote him out of office.

Good luck Mrs. Irey, we are all pulling for you.

Wide Awakes Radio, or WAR on the Left

The online blogs, in what I will call a Coalition of the Right, are launching a webcast Radio project that is interesting.

The associated blogs include some of the longest running and best known blogs on the right. If you assume that they have a dozen listeners for their debut on the 4th of July, they will about meet the numbers of people who are listening to Air America Radio and the hatred there. On the second day, I can see W.A.R. doubling the numbers of Air America Radio listeners when friends mention to others that this exists.

Seriously, good luck out there, I won't bother telling you what you already know, your Conservatives. You know this is going to be hard work, you know it may fail, but dedication to the success and a good understanding of what is needed will see you through.

More Unidentified "Senior Military" spill secrets

Another week, another secret tossed out to the public by the Liberal Loony press.

I have a hard time believing much of this story, because of one thing. The Military knows we are winning in Iraq, they know from the intercepts that we have really hurt Al Qaida. The Military knows we have eliminated 40% of the original Al Qaida forces, and liberated two nations in the process.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Top Pentagon officers have told the Bush administration that bombing Iranian nuclear facilities would probably fail to destroy that country's nuclear program, the New Yorker magazine reported on Sunday.
The senior commanders also warned that any attack launched if diplomacy fails to end the standoff over Iran's nuclear ambitions could have "serious economic, political, and military consequences for the United States," the article said, citing unidentified U.S. military officials.

The Military leaders on the Ground in Iraq say we are winning, the Iraqi people know we are winning, and the Insurgents are ready to discuss surrender because of that knowledge. It is inconceivable that the "secret military source" would not know this. Thus, this information must be spin over substance.

Another parallel U.S. military leaders drew with Iraq is the administration's desire for a swift and cheap intervention in Iran without sufficient regard for economic and political consequences, including oil supplies and a backlash in the broader Muslim world and in Europe.
"If you're a military planner, you try to weigh options," one senior military official was quoted as saying. "What is the capability of the Iranian response, and the likelihood of a punitive response like cutting off oil shipments? What would that cost us?"

However it does remind me of something. It reminds me of all the warnings we got from the Libs about Saddam using WMD's on our troops if we attacked.

I doubt the validity of this assessment. I think we can take out his Nuclear Program, it's not a question of weapon capability, JASSM and other "cruise" type weapons are extremely accurate. Additionally the new generation of penetration weapons, the new hard target penetration have a FAB mix, or Fuel Air Bomb Mix, which is a more effective explosive in a contained space, like tunnels. That by the way makes me think that the Military is already working on weapons to accomplish this mission, instead of making due with whatever we can scrounge up.

UPDATE: The New Yorker Magazine Article

Illegal Immigrants commit even more crimes

The Houston Chronicle is reporting that a woman was abducted, raped, beaten, stabbed, and left for dead by two men. Her attackers appear to have been illegal immigrants. I know this is probably a big shock for those of you who have defended the illegal "migrant" workers, as just hard working family folks trying to make a living. The point many of us have long made is that without immigration controls, checks, and investigations, we don't know what we are getting.

Now, I guess I should say the alleged attackers, thus allowing the benefit of the doubt and before you start screaming double standard in the Duke Rape case, allow me to point out one sentence of the story.

Officers found Martinez at his Mexia residence. [Sheriff] Wilson said he confessed to the incident and told officers of Hernandez's involvement. U.S. Marshall's tracked Hernandez to a Waco bus station, where he was arrested Wednesday night.

The accused apparently has confessed and identified his accomplice. I am sure that the Limestone County sheriff's office is right now waiting for the Paratrooper Brigade of the ACLU to come and represent these poor downtrodden people who had no chance at a real life and had to turn to crime in outrage and frustration at their hopeless existence in the land of opportunity.

While we may be stuck with these two illegal Immigrants for the next 15 to 20 years, we should be able to see that they are tossed out of the country once their punishment has been served in the Texas State Department of Corrections.
