John Kerry (D) Mass plans on demanding surrender in Iraq

The LA Times has an interesting story about John Kerry with several good (for Republicans) paragraphs, however this one needs to be highlighted.

Kerry, who voted to give President Bush authorization to use force against Saddam Hussein in 2002, said he would attach an amendment to this summer's defense appropriations bill calling for a total withdrawal of U.S. combat troops by the end of this year. But he acknowledged that the idea would be unpopular. "I know I'm not going to get the majority of my own caucus."

Say what you will about John Kerry, at least he knows he is unpopular. Let's face it, when the best line your supporters can come up with for your Presidential campaign is "Anybody But Bush" you have to know your positives aren't real high.

So John Kerry is following his French fascination, demanding that we surrender immediately.

Later in the article Kerry says he is considering another run on the Presidency in 2008. As for me, I can only hope that he does, because the first one was a laugh riot.
