Obama's speech

I didn't post about it, because I didn't watch it. Nor did I watch Governor Jindal's response. Horrible of me? I don't think so.

I expect more of the same from Washington. I'm still convinced that if we had elected John McCain we'd have pretty much the same policies we have now. That was his platform.

I've just about decided that there isn't a dimes worth of difference between the parties. The Democrats have become socialist, and the Republicans have become Democrats. The end of that road isn't even in doubt, it's socialism, and the only choice we're given is how fast we get there.

Sometime today, I may read President Obama's speech. I honestly don't think I'll be surprised at anything. The argument that his speech was to be Reaganesque turned me off long before the speech was given. Reagan was a conservative, who believed that people had the keys to greatness themselves. Obama is a Socialist who believes that Government holds the keys to the people's greatness. How do you claim one is like the other?

Wow, judging the speech without listening to it.

How open minded and fair of you.

If you actually listened, you'd realize that Obama also believes that Americans have the keys to greatness.

Of course, the fact you didn't listen is not in the least surprising.
