Bush successfully prevents Hurricanes from striking America

Great news, Hurricane Season is over, without one Hurricane striking the United States, and we can thank President Bush. Am I joking? Sure, but since we watched the Liberals happily blame Bush for causing Katrina and the hurricane season of 2005, why aren't we giving Bush credit for stopping the Hurricanes from striking America in 2006?

MIAMI (AP) - The mild 2006 Atlantic hurricane season draws to a close Thursday without a single hurricane striking the United States - a stark contrast to the record-breaking 2005 season that killed more than 1,500 people and left thousands homeless along the Gulf Coast.

The Blame game lies from 2005 to refresh your memory.

In a fundraising email sent out to donors on Thursday, Mrs. Clinton alleges:
"In the last five years, the Bush administration has left no major environmental law untouched in their push to deregulate, undermining or rolling back decades of regulations put in place to protect our heath.
"The results are all around us," she says, citing "more greenhouse gases, global warming, rising seas, more violent storms like Katrina."

Wonderful, now we know that these things that were Bush's fault failed to deliver the promised destructive extreme hurricanes, so it also must be Bush's doing. Thank you Mr. President.

Illegal Aliens are murdering more Americans than the Terrorists are.

Hot Air has a post linking to a news story with excerpts that didn't surprise me, I only wondered why it wasn't released before the election. Of course we know the reason, it would have proven the Conservatives correct on Immigration.

WASHINGTON – While the military "quagmire" in Iraq was said to tip the scales of power in the U.S. midterm elections, most Americans have no idea more of their fellow citizens – men, women and children – were murdered this year by illegal aliens than the combined death toll of U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan since those military campaigns began.

Gee you mean that the millions of illegal immigrants aren't just undocumented workers, but are actually criminals, murdering, raping, and robbing the populace in general?

Twelve Americans are murdered every day by illegal aliens, according to statistics released by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa. If those numbers are correct, it translates to 4,380 Americans murdered annually by illegal aliens. That's 21,900 since Sept. 11, 2001.

...While King reports 12 Americans are murdered daily by illegal aliens, he says 13 are killed by drunk illegal alien drivers – for another annual death toll of 4,745. That's 23,725 since Sept. 11, 2001.

...Based on a one-year in-depth study, Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute of Atlanta estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each. She analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants.

I have posted on Immigration many times in the past. Here, here, here, and even here.

My position, the Conservative Position, which is as far from the Democratic Party's Position as it is the Republican Party's position on the issue is simple. Secure the boarders, screen who enters.

This nation is being invaded by criminals daily, people who murder, rape, and rob our citizens every day. Our Government has done little to protect us except put some minor window dressing on to pretend they are acting on it. The Liberals denounce that is inhumane and unconstitutional.

Tell you what, I will make a deal with you, I will agree to pull the troops out of Iraq, if you will agree to put them on the border and defend it against the invasion by foreign nations using extreme and unrestrained force. I would be very surprised if Machine guns, and artillery being fired at the invaders every day and night don't slow or stop the flood of illegal immigrants.

Judicial Activisim, Money unfair to Blind

In yet another in a long history of things being declared unfair, our paper money is now unfair to blind people. Previous unfair rulings have given us Braille instructions on the Drive Through ATM.

The government discriminates against blind people by printing money that all looks and feels the same, a federal judge said Tuesday in a ruling that could change the face of American currency.
U.S. District Judge James Robertson ordered the Treasury Department to come up with ways for the blind to tell bills apart. He said he wouldn't tell officials how to fix the problem, but he ordered them to begin working on it.

Ok, how much money is this going to cost the Taxpayers? The ability to read the money by touch?

In court documents, government attorneys said changing the way money feels would be expensive. Cost estimates ranged from $75 million in equipment upgrades and $9 million annual expenses for punching holes in bills to $178 million in one-time charges and $50 million annual expenses for printing bills of varying sizes.

Where do I sign up to offer an ideal to help the blind tell what denomination they are holding? Give them nothing but $1 bills, and there should be no confusion right? Mine companies used to pay their employees only in $2 bills so the local communities would know how much money the mine employees were bringing in, and thus appreciate the miners and mine company more.

Any change to the dollar's design could ripple into the vending machine industry, which participated in discussions regarding previous redesigns. The American Council of the Blind is not seeking changes to the $1 bill, according to court documents.

Hot Air has a good thread going on this one.

Contaigous Disease set to be named 3rd leading cause of death

According to this Al-AP news story, AIDS is set to become the 3rd leading cause of death among people around the world behind Heart Disease and Stroke. As I mentioned here, AIDS is a disease which we treat not like a contagious disease, but a political cause.

Currently ranked fourth behind heart disease, stroke, and respiratory infections, AIDS is set to become No. 3, say researchers in a new report in the Public Library of Science's Medicine journal. It accounts for about 2.8 million deaths every year. But the researchers estimate a total of nearly 120 million people could die in the next 25 years.

I mention that this disease is not treated like a contagious disease. If you had Smallpox, you would be isolated, and quarantined. If you had any other deadly disease you could infect others with, you would be isolated and quarantined by law. With AIDS, you are encouraged to rejoin society, risk spreading the infection, and we must sue anyone who doesn't wish to be infected for discrimination. We will even hide the identity of infected people from the population at large to insure the uninfected are unable to protect themselves, in order to protect the infected persons privacy. We don't sue the infected person for spreading the disease, we sue those who don't wish to be infected. Brilliant ideal there folks.

This is what happens when you have a contagious disease which is treated in a politically correct manner. Political Correctness will cause you to treat the disease in a court room instead of a treatment facility.

Just for fun, look at the famous story of Typhoid Mary, who was Quarantined for life. Thankfully we didn't have liberals then who would have happily sued saying that a life sentence for a disease was unconstitutional and unfair. I am sure it is cruel and unusual punishment, to protect the population at large from an infection from a deadly disease.

Government Hypocracy on Global Warming

There are a few state Governments who are blaming the EPA for not regulating Carbon Dioxide emissions, that gas that is expelled when you breath, and it's effect on the notional Global Warming event. This blame is about to be decided by the Supreme Court. This is a lawsuit that precedes the famous California Suit against the Automakers. It also flies in the face of the recently announced discovery of a solution for Global Warming.

In short, WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Supreme Court hears arguments this week in a case that could determine whether the Bush administration must change course in how it deals with the threat of global warming.
A dozen states as well as environmental groups and large cities are trying to convince the court that the Environmental Protection Agency must regulate, as a matter of public health, the amount of carbon dioxide

You see, this is the Liberal tendency, if they don't get their way in legislature, in other words, Congress won't pass the laws they want, the Liberals run to the Courts and demand an order from the Court that things go their way.

Fine, I will help you Liberals out. First, each of you must stop flying all over the world to discuss Global Warming. Second, you State Governments who are suing claiming that automobiles are causing Global Warming, the plaintiffs for the case are California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington. They were joined by cities such as Baltimore, New York and the District of Columbia; the Pacific island of America Samoa; the Sierra Club; the Union of Concerned Scientists; Greenpeace; and Friends of the Earth.

You all stop driving cars, or taking airplanes. I want you all to lead the way by walking or using Public Transportation. I don't want to see your hypocritical selves getting out of the usual Crown Victoria with it's V-8 engine while demanding that I and the rest of the citizenry drive a geo-metro. You don't do that though do you? No, you all are Gulfstream Environmentalists who dash about in chartered jets, private planes, and large limos while the rest of the citizenry are blamed for Global Warming.

Here is another idea, stop screaming that we need to do something about alternative energy, when the biggest and loudest voices are the ones blocking alternative energy plans which would jeopardize the Kennedy family's favorite yachting area.

Sen. Ted Kennedy has strongly opposed an environmentally friendly "wind farm” off the coast from the Kennedy compound in Hyannis. Now he supports building another wind farm – in somebody else’s "backyard.”
A Boston contractor has submitted plans to construct a $750 million offshore complex of 90 to 120 wind turbine towers near Naushon Island and the towns of Dartmouth and Fairhaven to supply electricity to about 240,000 homes.
While the Cape Wind project Kennedy opposed would have been "in view of some of the wealthiest communities in Massachusetts’ Cape Cod,” the new proposal is for a "project in view of more working-class areas,” according to CNN and Reuters.

Yes, it's fine for the "little people" to make sacrifices right Liberals? Just so long as YOU don't have to stop enjoying the good life as a reward for your progressive thought.

Great Democrat role model gets 10 months for kiddie porn.

Perhaps I should consider changing my political affiliation. After all, No Democrat is ever punished so long as he espouses proper Liberal idealism.

A Democrat Minister has plead guilty to producing Kiddie Porn and is sentenced to ten months in jail. Ten months for Child Pornography, and the plea bargain was approved by the District Attorney (Another Democrat) and the Judge (Fellow Democrat) for 15 counts of Child Pornography.

A Democrat community leader who would "offer a homily during worship services" and facilitated his congregation's "opening our doors to all people regardless of sexual orientation" has been given a slap on the hand after pleading guilty to extensive child pornography offenses involving children as young as six.

Court records in the Asheville, N.C., case said he admitted that he would "record, develop and duplicate material containing a visual representation of a minor engaging in sexual activity." That activity is defined by state law as including masturbation, intercourse and "touching – in apparent sexual stimulation or sexual abuse – of the genitals, pubic area or buttocks."

Guess it pays to have strong ties to the Democratic Party, they back anyone who has supported them in the past. If you do support the Democratic Party and members, then they speak glowingly of you when you are caught raping children on film. What did the local and state Democratic Party Members say about Reid?

"It has been my pleasure to share Andy's commitment to ensuring that compassion and democracy are at work across our community," wrote Beth Lazer, a Democrat who shared Unitarian Universalist church theologies with Reed and serves as the head of the local public access television, URTV.
She said in her letter of reference she first worked with Reed "when we both served on the board of the local chapter of the League of Women Voters."
"What an invaluable board member he was," she said.
"I also worked with Andy on several projects at our church, most significantly our becoming a welcoming congregation," she said.
Steve Hagerman, the executive director of the Asheville Symphony, wrote on symphony letterhead that, "Reed has been a long-time supporter of the arts in Western North Carolina and has been involved in many worthwhile causes in our community."

You really can't say that there is anything lower than a Democrat, and this case proves that beyond a doubt. Sick, Disgusting, Perverted, Double Standard, and a Democrat.

Big Hat Tip to Hot Air on this one.

If Only Thanksgiving were for all of us.

It seems that a liberal Defense Attorney is depressed this holiday season, her criminal clients are sitting in jail, awaiting trial, or in prison, serving their sentences, for non violent crimes.

Before I address the text of her post, I would like to say one thing on a purely personal level. Ms. Merritt, I am very sorry to hear about your Mother being ill, and I sincerely hope she experiences a fast and complete recovery.

Now, to the political/social side of the issue. First, I have addressed the criminal justice system previously.

It would seem that she believes if no one is harmed physically, then no crime is committed.

This by the way is the street basketball "no blood no foul" approach to criminal law.

...I live in a peculiar world, one that is filled with days spent visiting mostly non-violent prisoners in jails, and it saddens me that for them and their children and parents, I see little hope.

Translation from Max: Her Clients aren't falsely accused, they are criminals, who actually committed the crimes, and she longs for the day when they aren't crimes and are accepted by society.

I spent the afternoon with a formerly well-to-do businessman, his wife and daughter as they tried to accept that he would be going to prison for a few years for an economic crime he never thought was against the law. The tears, the sadness, the coming to grips with reality -- is it really necesary?

Yes, you see if we don't punish those who commit economic crimes, then every company in the world would be run like Enron, defrauding investors, stealing from millions, and then laughing because economic crimes aren't really crimes in your world. So what if Grandma is defrauded by some scumbag and is living on the street, apparently that is better than some poor businessman who committed a crime, he didn't realize was a crime, go to Prison.

In a way, I almost agree with Jeralyn Merritt. I don't want to see the Prisons filled either. I believe that punishment should be cruel, and unusual. If punishment isn't cruel, then the punishment tends not to be effective. If the punishment isn't unusual, then it is common, and thus it's deterrent value is negligible at best.

For example, instead of a stiff fine, a few hours in jail, a hundred or so hours of community service for drunk driving, we were to give the offender 30 lashes in the public square, wouldn't that be a bigger deterrent than the above? Not only for the offender, but for any witnesses, wouldn't the flogging of the convicted offender be useful to the public? Drunk Driving arrests would plummet like a stone tossed off a bridge. Drunk Driving checkpoints would become a thing of the past, needless, because no one would risk a public flogging for one more drink.

Jail and Prison are intended to be punishment for violating the rules of civilization, and they are failing, because the population of the establishments are growing. They don't serve the deterrent value that we would hope they would, thus we need to reconsider our approach to the punishment. Punishment is something to be avoided, and the simplest way to avoid punishment is not to commit the crime.

I am sorry Ms. Merritt, I don't feel compassion for those who are in jail or prison for violating social rules we call laws. They had a choice, do something, or don't do something, and they made the decision, perhaps ill or uninformed, to commit the crime. While I can understand sentence mitigation for the uninformed, I can't understand, nor support no punishment for the crime.

No blood no foul isn't a good way to play a game, and an even worse way to maintain a civilized society.

Tasmanian Devil, new image for Democrats?

I just watched a television program (I normally watch less than five hours of television per week, often less than two hours) about the Tasmanian Devil on Animal Planet. The show focused on the activity of the Sanctuary at an Australian National Park, and my normal curiosity led me to look further into it online.

I was dismayed to find the references on the show of a disease or cancer in the wild Tasmanian Devils was seriously affecting the population of these unique creatures. Studies seem to indicate that the cancer is spread from one to another of the devils, and the treatment plan is to isolate the diseased creatures to keep them from infecting the remaining devils.

I began to think, and realized that this is a perfect metaphor of the Liberal Nutroots of today's Democratic Party. They are incredibly ferocious towards those who don't bow to them, and are infected with a disease which they spread amongst each other, not cancer as the devils, but conspiracy theory.

Before you laugh and move on, consider what happens to conservatives who try and speak at a college campus. They are shouted down, insulted, assaulted physically, all to keep them from speaking. If the offending Liberals are arrested, they are defended proclaiming free speech.

It's obvious that Liberals have no clue how to debate, and their ferocious defense of their territory, schools, media, and government, is not unlike the devil. They scream, shout, and even attack those who approach the defended item.

The cancer that is spread is insane conspiracy theory, on every subject. From JFK, to 9-11 they have a theory that goes against conventional wisdom, logic, and even facts. It has not only approached insanity, it has gone right on by.

The traditional treatment of the infected Tasmanian Devils is right out of the medical treatment playbook. Isolation of the infected to reduce or eliminate the infection of the unaffected population. It's a treatment that has worked in every outbreak of human disease. Well all but one, it hasn't been tried for AIDS, but that is because the Liberals are treating AIDS as a political cause instead of a deadly disease. I really startled a Liberal friend by asking him why AIDS isn't treated like a disease. He started the usual Liberal talking points about the cure being a product of research and funding. I pointed out how his house would be isolated if he or a member of his family were to come down with small pox, to keep him from infecting the remainder of the population, and he looked shocked at that idea. If you can't cure the disease, you isolate the infected, to keep them from infecting others, except with AIDS, where the treatment is to sue anyone who raises an eyebrow at the insistence that the disease is "safe".

Liberals are the Tasmanian Devils, they are nearly rabid in the ferocity screaming at the remainder of the pack, and infecting each other with wild conspiracy theory.

I hope that the treatment of the devils works, I kind of liked the wild little nuts, and after we take care of that infection, we can work on isolating the Liberals to minimize the spread of their infection to the remainder of the population.

Ann Coulter, pefect addition to Thanksgiving.

Ann Coulter, that wonderful firebrand whom the left loves to hate, and who quite often brings me a chuckle each week is back in great form this week.

Six imams removed from a US Airways flight from Minneapolis to Phoenix are calling on Muslims to boycott the airline. If only we could get Muslims to boycott all airlines, we could dispense with airport security altogether.
Witnesses said the imams stood to do their evening prayers in the terminal before boarding, chanting "Allah, Allah, Allah" — coincidentally, the last words heard by hundreds of airline passengers on 9/11 before they died.
Witnesses also said that the imams were talking about Saddam Hussein, and denouncing America and the war in Iraq. About the only scary preflight ritual the imams didn't perform was the signing of last wills and testaments.

Excellent work Ann, keep it up, and the Liberals will keep entering the red zone on the blood pressure cuff. (Little nod to the Thanksgiving Love Fest from Huffington Post)

Examples of Liberal Love

As we Conservatives know, Liberals have no love for their fellow man. In a Thanksgiving day example, the Huffington Post gives us a Thanksgiving prayer that is a perfect example of hatred and demogogury.

I give thanks O Lord for Dick Cheney's Heart, that brave organ which has done its darn-tootin' best on four separate occasions to do what we can only dream about.

Yes the prayer for Thanksgiving is beyond anything that we Conservatives ever say, but are constantly accused of believing. It is a long tirade of hated, and dreams of death. Death for Republicans, of course, but we are supposed to think that is acceptable.

I will give a big hat tip to Hot Air for bringing this to our attention.

Free Schools making a comeback.

Want to give your child a hopeless future, send them to a free school. A Free school for those who don't know is where the child need not learn any subject, nor bother to attend any particular class. Instead trusting to the curiosity of the child to lead them to explore and learn on their own. The Brooklyn Free School is trying to bring back something that we all hoped we dead and gone.

2+2=3. What a little genius, not being bound by traditional stereotypical answers.

How does the school ensure that students learn the "basics?"What is meant by the "basics?" This question in and of itself represents a core principle of the Brooklyn Free School. A certain segment of society has sought, and succeeded, in imposing their view of what is important for all students in America, and indeed in much of the world, to learn in school. We don't presume to know what is best for each individual student to learn now and certainly not what will be best in the next five or ten years. The world is a fluid, fast-changing, and increasingly open society where individuals need to be first and foremost confident, flexible and independent thinkers and learners. Nurturing these qualities is what a free school does best. What a student learns is determined by each individual's own unique set of talents, skills, and interests which they pursue in their own good time. Students learn how to read, write, and do mathematics (these skills constituting the common perception of the "basics") in a natural and organic fashion; as necessary to support and better understand their passions and interests. There is no more effective way to learn than as a natural means to accomplish a self-motivated end.

Wow, I wonder what college those kids are going to get into? Any bets on how many kids spend the day playing computer games?

Janet Reno say's terror law unconstitutional.

Janet Reno, the wonderful woman who brought us Ruby Ridge, Waco, and of course, Elian Gonzalez, stated in court filings that the Anti Terror law is unconstitutional.
It seems that it's unfair to take an enemy combatant, and hold him without trying him in front of his potential victims.

Former Attorney General Janet Reno and seven other former Justice Department officials filed court papers Monday arguing that the Bush administration is setting a dangerous precedent by trying a suspected terrorist outside the court system.

"The existing criminal justice system is more than up to the task of prosecuting and bringing to justice those who plan or attempt terrorist acts within the United States _ without sacrificing any of the rights and protections that have been the hallmarks of the American legal system for more than 200 years," the attorneys wrote.

Yes, that is exactly how we managed our POW camps during each of our previous wars. In World War II, captured Germans were regularly indicted in New York, no wait they weren't indicted. They were detained, for the duration of the war. Of course, that isn't an option for the Liberals who want to believe we aren't in a war, despite the numerous claims to the contrary from our ENEMY. Nobody tries an enemy combatant in a civilian court, not even Jane Fonda, while the hostilities are ongoing.

Libs, please keep this kind of nonsense up, after all, it's what you do best. No liberal can resist the chance to oppose America after all.

More Divisions in the Democratic Majority

Congressman Charlie Rengel, who has called on a new Draft several times, has intended to introduce legislation to his now friendly Democratic Majority. Yet, the Democratic Majority indicates that it's not friendly at all to Congressman Rengel or his ideals on a Draft that the Miltary has already indicated it doesn't need, or want. (One has to wonder why we would need a draft if Murtha and Kerry's Cut and Run plan takes shape)

Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California told reporters on Monday that she does not support reinstating the draft, which was suspended in 1973 near the end of the Vietnam War and replaced by the all-volunteer army.

So the Democratic Majority have so far dumped Murtha as Majority Leader in the House, and now taken away Rengels paddle as he entered the middle of the famed creek.

I wonder how long the Loony Folks in the Nutroots community will tolerate these slaps in the faces.

Please Liberals, please do what Michael Moore says.

If you doubt that Conservative idealism is what a majority of Americans really believe in, please do what Michael Moore says you Libs promise to do. Please, I can't beg you enough to propose each of these ideals to America, and to put forth legislation to enact each of these items.

Tuesday, November 14th, 2006A Liberal's Pledge to Disheartened Conservatives ...by Michael Moore
To My Conservative Brothers and Sisters,
I know you are dismayed and disheartened at the results of last week's election. You're worried that the country is heading toward a very bad place you don't want it to go. Your 12-year Republican Revolution has ended with so much yet to do, so many promises left unfulfilled. You are in a funk, and I understand.
Well, cheer up, my friends! Do not despair. I have good news for you. I, and the millions of others who are now in charge with our Democratic Congress, have a pledge we would like to make to you, a list of promises that we offer you because we value you as our fellow Americans. You deserve to know what we plan to do with our newfound power -- and, to be specific, what we will do to you and for you.
Thus, here is our Liberal's Pledge to Disheartened Conservatives:
Dear Conservatives and Republicans,
I, and my fellow signatories, hereby make these promises to you:
1. We will always respect you for your conservative beliefs. We will never, ever, call you "unpatriotic" simply because you disagree with us. In fact, we encourage you to dissent and disagree with us.
2. We will let you marry whomever you want, even when some of us consider your behavior to be "different" or "immoral." Who you marry is none of our business. Love and be in love -- it's a wonderful gift.
3. We will not spend your grandchildren's money on our personal whims or to enrich our friends. It's your checkbook, too, and we will balance it for you.
4. When we soon bring our sons and daughters home from Iraq, we will bring your sons and daughters home, too. They deserve to live. We promise never to send your kids off to war based on either a mistake or a lie.
5. When we make America the last Western democracy to have universal health coverage, and all Americans are able to get help when they fall ill, we promise that you, too, will be able to see a doctor, regardless of your ability to pay. And when stem cell research delivers treatments and cures for diseases that affect you and your loved ones, we'll make sure those advances are available to you and your family, too.
6. Even though you have opposed environmental regulation, when we clean up our air and water, we, the Democratic majority, will let you, too, breathe the cleaner air and drink the purer water.
7. Should a mass murderer ever kill 3,000 people on our soil, we will devote every single resource to tracking him down and bringing him to justice. Immediately. We will protect you.
8. We will never stick our nose in your bedroom or your womb. What you do there as consenting adults is your business. We will continue to count your age from the moment you were born, not the moment you were conceived.
9. We will not take away your hunting guns. If you need an automatic weapon or a handgun to kill a bird or a deer, then you really aren't much of a hunter and you should, perhaps, pick up another sport. We will make our streets and schools as free as we can from these weapons and we will protect your children just as we would protect ours.
10. When we raise the minimum wage, we will pay you -- and your employees -- that new wage, too. When women are finally paid what men make, we will pay conservative women that wage, too.
11. We will respect your religious beliefs, even when you don't put those beliefs into practice. In fact, we will actively seek to promote your most radical religious beliefs ("Blessed are the poor," "Blessed are the peacemakers," "Love your enemies," "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God," and "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."). We will let people in other countries know that God doesn't just bless America, he blesses everyone. We will discourage religious intolerance and fanaticism -- starting with the fanaticism here at home, thus setting a good example for the rest of the world.
12. We will not tolerate politicians who are corrupt and who are bought and paid for by the rich. We will go after any elected leader who puts him or herself ahead of the people. And we promise you we will go after the corrupt politicians on our side FIRST. If we fail to do this, we need you to call us on it. Simply because we are in power does not give us the right to turn our heads the other way when our party goes astray. Please perform this important duty as the loyal opposition.
I promise all of the above to you because this is your country, too. You are every bit as American as we are. We are all in this together. We sink or swim as one. Thank you for your years of service to this country and for giving us the opportunity to see if we can make things a bit better for our 300 million fellow Americans -- and for the rest of the world.
Signed,
Michael Moore

Once again, please enact all of these within the first 100 days of the new congressional session. I'm begging you. We all know how Socialized Health Care, which makes HMO's look generous, competent, and responsive is a big seller in today's America. We all know how we Americans have been screaming for Gay Marriage. Please enact these immediately, as it will hearld the third major Conservative Revolution, the first being the Reagan Revolution, the second being Newt's Contract with America, and this promised action would be the red carpet to the third great Conservative Revolution.

I can't beg you enough to please do this immediately. Please shove your liberal idealism which you didn't run on down everyones throat. Please, I'm begging you all.

UPDATE The Democratic Underground has finally taken this up and is generally supportive, providing that we Conservatives don't wake up when the Democrats try and take our guns.

Solution discovered for Global Warming

Great news for those Global Warming advocates, a solution has been found. Air Polution would reduce the amount of Global Warming, and in fact, cool the earth.

They use as a baseline the Mt. Pinetubo eruption which cooled the earth by .9 degrees.

Pinatubo shot so much sulfurous debris into the stratosphere that it is believed it cooled the Earth by 0.9 degrees for about a year.
Wigley ran scenarios of stratospheric sulfate injection — on the scale of Pinatubo's estimated 10 million tons of sulfur — through supercomputer models of the climate, and he reported that Crutzen's idea would, indeed, seem to work. Even half that amount per year would help, he wrote.

Great news, we can end Global Warming with a little Air Pollution.

Democrats Win Both Houses of Congress

I've been extremely busy in the last couple months, from family vacations, to familial illnesses, and if you add in a dash of extremely long work hours, you are left with little time to blog.

I did Vote on election day, and of course, voted for the Conservative Candidates.

Now to business, Democrats won both houses of congress, and I should be very upset, but frankly, I am not. One theory I have is that it's never one thing that causes anything else, it's always a number of things. A few of the reasons for this electoral defeat for the Republicans are as follows.

1) Conservatism. The Republicans abandoned the Conservative principals on many different issues. From Immigration to Bankruptcy, Conservatism was tossed aside in favor of the old school Blue Blood Republicans that we hoped were abolished in the Conservative Reagan Revolution. Every issue that came to Washington was dealt with ineptly. The Conservative positions were obvious, and ignored as "unpopular". Now we know, the positions that are unpopular are the Elitist blue blood nonsense that we all hoped were dead and buried. Perhaps this time the corpse will be destroyed as well.

2) Unending liberal media agenda. Obviously we can't look at the electoral victory of the Liberals without considering the Liberal Media and their efforts. The Media has become the standard bearer of the Democratic Party, and frankly, everyone knows that to be true. I won't wast my time typing, nor your time reading all the examples of that factual information there is.

Now, there are other reasons, but before I dash off to deal with today's schedule, I wanted to get back to blogging. I don't want to get bogged down in the re-hashing of the obvious.

Why am I not worried about the Democratic Victory? Despite the failure of the Republicans to live up to the Conservative Ideals, the Conservative Ideals are what America believes. As we start to get a glimpse of the Liberal Agenda, things Americans oppose, this Democratic Congress is even more out of touch than the Republicans were.

Higher Taxes, yes, we aren't paying enough taxes according to Liberals. Somehow the fact that the profits from a gallon of Gasoline are minuscule in comparison to the taxes collected per gallon isn't newsworthy. Higher individual income taxes won't help the economy, it never has. When Conservatives start to ask Americans if they can afford an extra $1,200 a year in income taxes, expect the phones to ring off the hook with a resounding NO I can't afford it in Washington.

Cut and Run in Iraq, This may sound good, yet Americans will resent the real disaster that would be Iraq if we ran. Victory is the only option to Americans.

The inevitable tendency of Liberals can't be denied. They will fool themselves all too often, every chance they get in fact. When they start to enact that legislative agenda, they will be unmasked, and instead of heard headed realists, they will be exposed as the extreme socialists that they are. Perhaps then, Conservatism will again break out in the Democratic Party, and bring back the hero's of the Democratic party of yesteryear. Hero's like Kennedy and Truman, conservative leaders of our nation, who are quoted literally every day.

We wanted Scoop Jackson, we got Nancy Pelosi. The Republicans may be out of touch with their conservative base, but the Liberals are even more out of touch with Americans than the Republicans.
